Rescue Background Story

Arran came to the sanctuary during the same stem‑cell research initiative that brought several dachshunds into care. When the program ended, the sanctuary chose to keep him rather than relocate him again.

He quickly became part of the dachshund family and now spends his days socializing with the pack and enjoying the comfortable indoor living space provided for them.

When you donate or sponsor, you become part of their rescue journey — from survival to sanctuary.

Your kindness gives them the second chance they deserve.
