Rescue Background Story

Harris Tweed arrived at the sanctuary through the same stem‑cell research program that brought several dachshunds into care. When the program ended, he remained at the sanctuary with the rest of the group.

He is now the father of Molly and Mo and continues to live comfortably with the dachshund family in the sanctuary house.

When you donate or sponsor, you become part of their rescue journey — from survival to sanctuary.

Your kindness gives them the second chance they deserve.
