Rescue Background Story

Charlie was born at the sanctuary and raised by her parents Bella and Little Joe.

She learned herd behavior naturally while living among the donkey family and remains closely bonded to them.

Daily Care & Feeding Details

Morning Feeding

Time: 6 AM

Feed Mix:

24‑hour pasture grazing; when grass is limited the diet is supplemented with hay and a small portion of pelleted horse feed. Treats include Knicker Makers, apples, and carrots.

Evening Feeding

Time: 6 PM

Feed Mix:

Fencing & Enclosure

Charlie lives with Bella, Jenny, and Dolly forming a close family herd.
