Rescue Background Story

Skye arrived at the sanctuary through the same research program that brought several dachshunds into care. When the program ended, she remained with the sanctuary family instead of being relocated.

She later gave birth to Molly and Mo, who now live with her in the dachshund household. Skye continues to play an active role within the pack and enjoys interacting with staff and companions.

When you donate or sponsor, you become part of their rescue journey — from survival to sanctuary.

Your kindness gives them the second chance they deserve.
